Here is a one owner since new 1990 Miata. It was purchased in Jan. 1990. Built Nov. 1989.
We have the original Window Sticker, the original sales paperwork, and all service paperwork (mostly all of it), even the original owners manual. The car has been in Fort Worth since new. Other than a few overnight trips. Currently has 68017 miles.
My wife drove it to work from 1990 – 1995 and at 57K miles it became a fun time vehicle. Not driven heavily since and yes parked at times during that period but always kept in operational condition. Always garage kept since we bought the car.
It is all original, no modifications, no major services have ever been needed except for a fuel rail and fuel tank change due to my stupidity of leaving it parked a little to long one summer with very low fuel in the tank. I did have the lower right rear quarter panel touched up several years ago (1998 or 9 or so) do to some scratches that it encountered. Still some overspray can be seen on the muffler.
Everything works great, original radio and tape deck, air conditioning, power windows, heater, etc. The top and the full interior are the originals as well. They are all in very good to excellent condition with no tears, no major wear, or other issues. Has an added alarm system that hasn’t been used in years so not sure it’s condition but it does “beep” when the battery is disconnected or connected. Not the original battery… 🙂 (The battery has a cut-off on it when it’s parked.)
The only body repairs were to the left lower rear panel due to minor scratches that were found and that was back in the 1990’s as well.
